Mahveen Studio creates Pakistani formal and semi-formal clothing for women who value graceful cuts, carefully chosen fabrics and detailed finishing. Our collections bring together traditional dressmaking and a clean, contemporary sense of proportion.
We pay close attention to the details that affect how an outfit looks and feels: the fall of the fabric, the balance of the neckline, the placement of embroidery and the finish of the stitching. Most of our designs feature hand-finished embellishment, that are great to look at and feels luxurious to wear.
We design for the occasions that fall between an ordinary day and a full wedding: an engagement dinner, a mehndi night, an Eid gathering, a family reception. These are the events where you want to look polished, and where you are glad to still be comfortable at the end of the night. Our dresses are made mostly in silk and chiffon, fabrics that move well and look rich without feeling heavy. We favor light hand embroidery over dense, all-over work.
Alongside standard-size pieces, we offer selected designs as custom-made suits. A custom order is prepared using the measurements and options supplied by the customer. The usual dress-making time is about two to three weeks, followed by the courier's delivery time.
Pakistan has a long tradition of fine textile work, and it shapes how we think about clothing. We take care over the small things: how a seam sits, how a lining feels against the skin, how a sleeve falls when you reach for a cup of tea. A dress can look lovely on a hanger and still be a problem to wear for five hours, and we design with the five hours in mind.

If you need advice before ordering, please contact us and include the product name or link. You might wear a Mahveen Studio piece once for a single celebration, or return to it for several seasons with a different dupatta and different jewelry. Either way, we hope it feels like yours.
